I have been experimenting with Home Assistant and it’s various integrations. First I integrated with my Vera system then I stumbled upon the HomeKit integration. It was dead simple to set up and now I can (reliably) use Siri on my Apple Watch or iPhone to control most of my Vera devices.
I did try the Siri Shortcuts feature in Vera Mobile, but it often timed out opening the app/running the command. Screen shots of the Home app on iPad are below.
