since upgrade of vera plus to 1.7.2935 can't change the SSID of the wifi

Since I have made the upgrade to the new firmware,
I’ts not possible to change the wifi network name, and it’s stuck on the default.

any ideas how to deal with that?

You can try to edit the etc/config/wireless file, it contains the wifi settings.
