Setup New Thermostat

Hello!

I have recently purchased a Vera system, and I just got my Wayne-Dalton WDTC-20 up and running. Within the Mios control panel, the device shows as a light bulb with the option to turn it off/on. I appreciate your help in finding out how to display and operate the full functionality of this device.

I believe if you hold the include button on certain thermostats too long they tell vera they are on/off only devices and not thermostats with all the settings.

try excluding and then reinclude but just TAP the thermostats button. maybe that works.

I ditto this advice. If you press the “Bind” button on the WD thermostat a tad too long, it will be included as an On/Off device and not as a thermostat. You will need to exclude it, then re-include it and as advised, press the Bind button very, very quickly once (do not hold it down) and it should include it as a thermostat. Good Luck!
