Servers still down

After a week I still cannot use Vera. Keeps saying server busy. I have powered cycled and reset unit many times. Also support links all say not found (404errors)
Any tips for repairing this?.

There were major issues last weekend with the Servers - (was fixed Monday morning the 22nd) just checked multiple Veras around the States and was able to access all of them. Are you getting any other errors?

What do you mean support links ‘say not found’? Are you not able to send a ticket using mios.com or micasaverde.com?

I click on Mios and get to dashboard. OK.Click on dashboard and I get loading data in progress for about 40 seconds and at this time in the top right of the screen I get server busy. After 40 seconds a small box pops up in the middle of the screen with 4 links in it. These links do not work .I tried to get support through these links . I have no requested it yet trough Mi Casa Verde. I have used the little black reset button and have power cycled my router,Vera repeatedly and rebooting my computer as well. No joy so fa.r Thanks for any help.

same here.is there still an issue?

Dunno. It works fine on the local LAN, but I just tried it “from work” (via VPN), and haven’t even gotten past the login screen. Yesterday, when I tried to use SQC outside the LAN, it didn’t work either. This may be a personal problem–I suppose it could be something wrong in their DB about my system.

MCV, someday Vera (and Z-wave) may be sufficiently stable that trying to figure out why a system becomes unreachable like this won’t be solving an equation in 10 variables–with just one equation. A simple notification system that shows whether the servers are accessible/functional or not would remove at least one variable. It would help–REALLY.

Odd. My first off-site attempt timed out after four or five minutes. The second went right through.

Nutso.

Are the servers operational? Where can one get tech support for this equipment?.What is that small secret unmarked black button on the back of the unit for?.

Anyone out there?.

Dunno about anyone else, but I’m still having problems accessing my unit remotely. Everything works if I am accessing it locally over my home wifi, but not via the servers. Been this for about a week now.

Hi,
We don’t have any issues with our servers at this moment and we didn’t had any for some time now.
If you still encounter issues with your units please send us trouble tickets or send us e-mails at support@micasaverde.com. In this e-mails please tell us when this happened for the first time if you remember and also please tell us your unit’s serial numbers.

@shenders1 I already sent you an e-mail.

After almost 2 years of 100% up time my Vera is performing the same as Shenders1 described above. Whether local or remote cp.mios will give ‘loading data’ along with ‘server busy’. I have tried rebooting everything on my network with no results. Will give the forum a try and then do a trouble ticket. Oh … scenes continue to run without issue???

Mines working now.

Great! How did it get fixed?

Mines working now too (or was the last time I checked). Following the post above by MCV.silviu, I sent them an email, and, coincidentally or not, it started working later that same day (last Friday I think it was)

Mine takes about 25 min to finally connect remotely. I am running 1338. When I am local it takes no time at all. Also my remotes (iVera and Automater.app) also do not work when on the external network.

This wouldn’t have been helpful if I hadn’t been home after the weekend, but I was. What I find especially odd is that from Friday through Monday when I rebooted it, I couldn’t access Vera remotely, but it was uploading camera images the whole time.

I can’t connect to either of my Vera 2s running 1338… One I was able to reboot from the command-line but to no avail. Are the servers acting up as I type?

Here is something interesting - my Vera logs never show success in managing the ssh tunnels back to the forwarding servers. I see the following repeatedly in the logs:

Any ideas what I can do to improve the situation?

For now I ssh in and reflect port 80 back to the Vera so I can access the web ui remotely but it would be more convenient to use cp.mios.com.

All of a sudden I receive the following, as of 15 minutes ago:

Could not connect to MySQL server

What the heck is that???
