Server is unresponsive for custom device

I’ve just created a new custom device that turns rako lights on and off. It all works fine from Vera, Alexa discovers it and it appears as a smartplug, like many other devices I have.

However when trying to turn it on and off through alexa, I see server is unresponsive all the time, but nothing appears in the vera log.

How can I debug this further?

Is this recent?

Having reinstalled / relinked my Alexa Skill and forgotten / discovered devices (today), I’m now getting this for every device via the app, and “The hub xyz connected to isn’t responding. Please check on the hub” if done by voice…

I waited 24 hours and it seems to work ok now. Very strange, but also very frustrating to debug!
