Can someone confirm that sending Event Notification emails from Vera does not require the monthly subscription?
You may have to dig into the advanced settings of the router to change the mail settings.
How can I get there?
May be LUA will allow to do it without findvera.com?
This was one of my “critical customer requirements”.
Before I bought Vera, I asked MiCasaVerde support who told me it was doable.
However, going through the configuration (even the advanced network configuration) I could not find anywhere to put in a SMTP email server (plus email hostname and password).
Now I’m wondering if perhaps support erred in what they told me?
