Selling my Z-Wave device -- Unpair or Delete??

I’m confused.

I’m going to sell one of my z-wave devices, so I don’t want it on my Vera network. When I click “Delete” I’m given some cryptic message about do I want to Delete it or Unpair it.

Don’t I want to Unpair AND Delete it, so that the next owner of this z-wave device can pair it with his system?

I don’t know what to choose: Delete or Unpair

Please advise.

Delete is for non working devices. Unpairing it also deletes it from the system.

Hair also makes it easier on the buyer as the device will really go into pairing mode. There are devices that can’t break pairing on their own; they only do it at the command of a controller.
