I have this alarm connected to vera via serial and It works! I’m able to arm, disarm.

Anyone has news on the developement of this module ?

I have Scientech LS-30 alarm system and want to connect it to Vera Lite. Can you please give me information on how to set this up?

i connect my ls30 alarm to vera with this RS-232 Adaptor

Upload the files to your Vera by selecting the MiOS developers icon from the toolbox and then the Luup files tab:
check the Restart Luup after upload box, and click GO.

Device configuration
With the hardware and software in place, all that remains is creating and configuring the device.

Create a new instance of the LS30-Alarm device by selecting the MiOS developers icon from the toolbox and then the Create device tab:
Enter D_LS30.xml as the UpnpDevFilename, and a name for your new device as the Description. Then click on the Create device button.

Select MiOS developers then Serial Port configuration, and find your serial port
Select 9600 as the baud rate, and then select your new device from the Used by device dropdown list. If you do not see your new device in the list, you may have to refresh your Vera.
Once you select your device, you will be immediately taken to a dialog box
Simply do nothing here and exit out of the dialog by clicking the X as shown above.

Select SAVE and click continue. After your Vera has refreshed

Its sad that it cannot support BF-450. It seems hard to find any other people that are using LS30 and Vera =(

Before I continue any buy the R-232 adaptor I wonder if its possible to trigger scenes in Vera if the alarm is triggered? Or is the only thing you can do arm/disarm and nothing else?

Do you use any other software to control the sensors by RS-232?

I use BF-450 today and I will lose a lot of functions if I change to the RS-232. How did you solve it?

I just wonder if works with LS-30 with VeraLite? An y news or updates?
I am just going to buy a RS232 adapter tu uart to connect my LS-30 till Vera Lite.
