Schlage Z-Wave Motion Sensors - too sensative?

Recently it got cold in Denver… go figure :wink:

So now my house furnace comes on and seemingly set off the motion sensors!

Not sure if it is the air from the vents will make drapes sway ever so slightly or the MS’s detecting the hot air itself?

Anyone encountered this? Know how to resolve?

Did you check to make sure the “pet jumper” is on to reduce the sensitivity? I have mine with the large pet setting and they work fine — even when it gets cold her in Miami :slight_smile:

I’m going to try to set both PET2 and TEST… I want the trip reset to be 5 seconds - hopefully that will work.

You mean when it hits the 50’s at night? 8) BTW, how large is your pet? I’m looking for a sensor that will ignore 3 65 to 80lbs German Shepherds but does detect my fat arse.
