Just bought Schlage touchscreen bolt lock and these sensors and versa lite. Was thinking Of using the sensor on the garage door.
Is there a sound module I can use to tell me when garage door open? Similar to home alarm chime / beep?
If you have an Android Phone you can do this with Vera Alerts plugin.
Otherwise you would have to do this as a DIY project. Use a Z-Wave appliance module to trip a relay to signal a door bell. If you google ZWave Doorbell you will find some ideas.
