I just bought 2 locksets for my son’s house, and they each came with a Schlage Bridge-which I don’t need using Vera.
Is there anything I can do with them to enhance my Zwave system in my home? Are they hackable into something useable?

Ppl here either sell them on ebay for $10 or just tuck them away in their attics. Not much you can do with them outside of subscribing them as intended.
Funny thing is that that was @ballroller’s own advice the other day, I think.
Looks like the Schlage bridge can be operated as a secondary controller, but not sure if that’s something that makes sense (and is possible without subscribing). Does the Schlage offer anything that Vera doesn’t?
And I think I’ll be following my own advice!!

Glad you could be of help. ;D Use the proceeds towards more Z-Wave goodies.
I’m holding onto a couple of mine, just in case. When the Schalge cameras went on sale at Radio Shack I bought a couple only to find out they wouldn’t work out of the box with Vera. I asked MCV, and others, I searched the web (but obviously not that well), and thought that there must be an alternative firmware for the camera. Everything pointed to NO, so I returned them, only to find a post on the forums here that someone found the firmware and flash tool.
So I know the minute I return the Bridges somone will post some use for them here. Although, I can’t think of any alternative use since it doesn’t have USB ports, other than a secondary Z-Wave controller.
