Interesting, is that with the FIRMWARE posted here? I don’t see WPA2 as an option on there.

I know this thread is somewhat old, but would anybody here have functioning links for the utility and the firmware?
If you have a public dropbox or onedrive, I can upload the files for you. The zip I have is about 4MB, so I guess I could send it to you via email if you provide an address.
I sent you a PM with my email address, could you please email me a copy, if you have it? Been looking for this file but have not been able to find it.
I can’t believe that Amazon is selling this cameras for $130, not only that, it required a $10 per month subscription unless you replace the firmware.
The only reason I have one was because a friends house came with it, looks like the builder was installing this Schlage locks and he didn’t want to pay the monthly service.
Here is a link to the firmware-

How things have progressed recently that finding a computer with 32 bit Windows 7 can be a bit of a challenge.
Did anybody run into a problem with the unit not getting an IP address when in the “Upgrade” mode?
When the Camera is turned on like normal, I get an IP address without any problem, but when I hold the reset button down when I put the power cable up (As per the instructions), the camera never gets an ip address from the Ethernet cable.
Were you able to upgrade the camera though? (I don’t quite remember, but I believe the tool ‘scans’ for the camera, which is in a special mode; similar to flashing firmware on Vera.)
Does anyone have a copy of the upgrade software please? It’s no longer on the site listed in this thread. Also, as a Windows 8 user would I have trouble executing it anyway? I’m not very experienced at this stuff but don’t want to throw away a perfectly good camera. Cheers.
Install software. FYI - it is 38.7 MB

sorry to bump this thread. got the firmware flashed on the camera and got it added to my UI7 Vera. Now I have a problem with viewing the video feed. It is blurry and laggy. Also when viewing on the mobile Vera APP the video feed is squished.
any pointers are greatly appreciated.
Hello,
I’m trying to find the NQ9006 firmware. I found the update utility, but all the links to the firmware are dead.
Would someone post the file or email it to me? Please.
does anyone have the firmware file FW-NQ-9006.1009.zip
Here are the files via a Dropbox link, a .pdf of the original SlickDeals post, and Instructions:
Merry New Year!
Edit: default user/password for camera:
user: administrator
pass: [blank]
I had the Schlage cameras working on a Vera 2. It died about a year ago and I’m just now getting around to replacing it with a Vera Lite running UI7. I’ve gotten everything to work (including Panasonic IP cams) except these. I’ve also changed my Internet provide since. any suggestions on what I’ve forgotten to do? In UI7, a generic camera is looking only for a URL not the IP. That doesn’t seem to make sense. Anyone else made similar transition successfully>
HI I just saw your post.
Please help
I added link you posted via dropbox.
But I dont know what to do from there
i have one of these i flashed and got working with the vera but i just ordered the foscam. if anyone wants the camera let me know via PM.
I hate raising a thread from the dead, but I must. I finally decided to do something with the Schlage IP cam that was installed by my home builder (connected via Nexia) which I’ve long since switched to SmartThings. I’ve followed all of the instructions in the prior replies like create a vm using Oracle VirtualBox, installing Windows XP 32-bit SP3, getting my hands on the NorthQ firmware and the Upgrade Utility, knowing the IP address of the camera. I’m able to get the camera in IP detect mode by pressing in and the reset switch and cycleing the power. Once this is done, the power light continuously flashes as it should. However, when I start up the Upgrade Utility, it never lists any devices at all. I’m hoping someone is still around to help me figure out what’s going on.
Thanks!
