I have been using the Schlage lever and deadbolt combo for about 6 months now, and have had a great experience so far. The lever battery came close to dying once a few months ago, and flashed red on the Schlage light - so I replaced it and now i’m good to go.
However, the deadbolt has been flashing orange after i enter my code for 2 weeks. This weekend, I decided to replace the batteries in it as well.
First, I switched out the 9V battery for a new one. The light still shows as orange. Then I switched out the 3 AA batteries for new ones. Same result! The UI shows me 100% on the battery sensor, but the light is still going orange after unlock.
Does orange mean something other than battery? Or does it go orange then red then dead? Just trying to figure out what to do next - the lock still works fine, and reports in the UI, but I don’t want to get locked out because of faulty battery issues!
