Schlage BE369 loss of communication

Hi all, just installed my first Vera Edge yesterday. It’s taking some getting used to from the old Nexia bridge I had.

I’m having trouble with my Schlage BE369 lock. Several times per day, I get an alert that the controller lost communication with the lock. Then a short while later it picks it back up. The lock is only about 12 feet from the controller and is the second closest device. All settings are listed as default. Any thoughts?

Manually edit the z-wave route on the lock to only talk to the Vera (don’t let it talk to the closer device). Some of the older Schlage don’t route through devices correctly or don’t recognize if the device doesn’t support secure beaming and tries to use it as a valid route.

On Device Option menu of the lock. Put a 0 in the manual routing box.
