Hi! I need help!

Here is my deadbolt:

I can’t pair my new door lock with Vera Edge!
I try to fallow instructions and no luck.
Also I tried to use VERA EDGE - DEVICES - PAIR - SCHLAGE SCH-TSBR-605C profile and no luck (photos and instructions looks exact the same).
Which exact section should I use to pair it?

If this losk has been paired in past with different system (Piper camera for example) is there anything specific I need to do to pair with new VERA system???
I tried FACTORY RESET - no luck.

I had lots of issues getting this lock to pair with my VeraLite. Ultimately I had to upgrade from UI5 firmware to UI7 (which I think you already have). The other thing that I had to do was place the Vera ~2 feet away from the lock during the pairing process. The pairing process takes longer for the locks than for other devices so be prepared to leave you Vera by the lock for a few minutes.

As far as which “pair” process to use in Vera, I was able to get it work both ways - as a “generic device” and I also tried the template as you mentioned above. Both ways worked, the template recognized that the lock was not the same and alerted me to this, but I was able to say “ok” and continue on with the pairing process.

If the lock has been paired with something previously you can exclude it very easily. It is basically the same steps as pairing, just make sure your Vera is not in “add mode”. If it was partially added to Vera but then had an issue, you need to remove/exclude it from Vera also. I would also suggest doing a factory reset on the lock (see manual) just so you are starting fresh.

If this lock was previously paired to a different Z-Wave controller, you need to follow the process described for unpairing it first. Only then can you begin to pair it with Vera.

My understanding is that a factory default reset will not unpair a previously paired lock. A factory default reset is used if you want to install the lock in a different door and/or you want to clear all PIN codes back to their defaults.
