I’ve been using Alexa integration with Vera successfully for a couple of months and this morning I am suddenly unable to invoke scenes with it. No matter what scene I reference, it says “{Scene} doesn’t support that.” Individual device controls seems to work fine. I’m using the command “Alexa, turn on {Scene Name}”
Most of my Alexa scenes are manual scenes that run luup code that hits a web server which then performs commands but even scenes that have have local Vera commands are having the same problem.
I tried removing the skill and reenabling that that didn’t help.
I have 45 device and 30 scenes configured on my Vera Plus running the newest firmware (1.7.3232).
As of today suddenly all my device commands respond with “{device} doesn’t support that”. I’ve tried re-discovering, disabling/re-enabling the skill, power cycling. Vera and Alexa are both working fine otherwise.
Same here, none of my devices are working thru Alexa. “Device doesn’t support that” is the only response I get. I disabled and re-enabled as well as re-discovered devices. Still the same!
As of today my Alexa does not recognize scenes from Vera Plus as well. Disabling skill, rediscovering devices does not help. looks like some major issue… Hopefully somebody here will find solution.
I have times it does not work. Can’t access controller and things along those lines, but this has been all day for me. I have tried the basic forget/discover and resave the device names through the portal with no luck.
Having the same problem, woke up this morning and Alexa isn’t working. My Veras seem to be okay, and it’s only affecting my switches through Alexa, thermostats and locks are still working. I just get “ doesn’t support that command”. My wife was mad at me this morning because she couldn’t turn on the Christmas tree through Alexa, and thought I did something.
