Scene Schedules New Year date issue

Just noticed on Vera —> Dashboard ----> Overview ----> Upcoming Shcedules the following:

Scene Name Next run Setup
Light Rear On Tank light rear on 01/01/2013 13:00:00
Light Front On Light Front On 01/01/2013 14:00:00
Light Rear Off New schedule 01/01/2013 21:00:00

Notice that the next run time YEAR. It is exactly 1 year incorrect.

The vera unit is displaying correct time in 2014 (its current and correct to my time zone).

Anyone else getting this.

OK the good news is its fixed by a reboot. The annoying thing though is Im overseas and had to email someone to go and do that for me.

Can anyone please explain to me what Vera ----> Setup ----> setup & wifi ----> REBOOT button does.

apart from asking you if you want to reboot… (i hope its not just for local rebooting only… :frowning:

Reboot is a restart of the vera unit. I did not face the isue on date in the schedules. http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Restart

Hi ranneman

The issue is that from a remote location the reboot button (on my unit) does nothing.

The reboot button is not only for local rebooting. Whenever using the Vera UI the button should reboot the unit. I checked the remote access and in my case it works fine using either my laptop or my mobile. Did you access your unit through cp.mios.com (https://fwd8.mios.com/remote/1.5.622-en…? Your fwd server might be different).

Hi raneneman

Yes I accessed via same means but the remote reboot does not work.

maybe time to create ssh access…

it might be easier to test your system by creating a scene to reboot. Takes less then a minute to test this. Create a scene and only include the luup statement os.execute( ‘reboot’ ). Save the lua/luup and scene. Now you can run the scene, it should reboot the system.
Do all other vera functions work well in the remote mode?
