Newbie question - I have all the hardware installed and the garage door plugin and a scene (home late) that turn on lights in the garage, kitchen and hallway and on the porch, unlocks the door and disarms the motion sensor then after 2 minutes turns off garage and porch lights. I am not sure the best approach that would trigger the scene “home late” WHEN the garage door is opened AFTER sunset and BEFORE sunrise.

I would suggest using the Programmable Logic Event Generator plugin along with the Day or Night plugin. Both are excellent plugins and support is available on this forum.
