Ring Door sensor

I’m looking in to using the Ring door sensors with the Ezlo Plus, since it’s a z-wave device. I have the device paired using the QR code scanning, but the Vera app shows nothing in terms of open or closed states, just battery level. The zwaved log shows the events from the sensor going apart/together. Do i need to do anything special to get this set up? Do i need to make my own lua script for this?

log entries:

Sensor going apart (Door open)

Hello @eklynx
This specific Ring Alarm Contact sensor hasn’t been integrated into our platform yet. Our Device integration team will get on it now.
Could you please confirm if you are using the 1st of 2nd generation Contact sensors?
imageimage
(Left is the first generation, right one is the second).

For future reference, you can check our compatibility list and visualize the Ring Alarm devices available to work with Ezlo controllers https://ezlo.com/device-compatibility/

Looking forward to your response.

I have the Second Generation.

What is the status of this integration?

Been a few months since I replied. Just wondering if there was any update on it.

The device is still not integrated with our platform, however, I kindly suggest you to remove the sensor and try to add it with the Generic Z-Wave option, instead of using Smart Start, this is because it might not shake/exchange security keys.
