Replacing Vera with another zwave device

Overall it seems really difficult to get this right for suppliers/vendors. This lack of ‘EU focussed’ devices is quit a set back for me. I would have absolutely pay 10x what Vera or Homeseer cost if I finally can get my hands on a controller (soft & or hardware based) that does what is needed (which incl. being forward looking which I really like about ie HASS)

I also spotted your answer on Anjos Q (I’m also Tyfoon on Homeseer forum). Let’s see if he can get it working. Also seems a Vera to Homeseer jumper.

Ok, That question seemed to be your exact question and I thought that might have been you. Not sure if that will help at all but hopefully someone will test it out that has those devices.

Good discussion

What are your opinion about Fibaro Home Center 2 controller? Is there any bridge etc. between fibaro and vera?

I have used their zwave devices and I am pleased with the level of fuctionality and feel of quality.

Tiny update: user Anjos confirmed he never get S2 on the fibaro in Homeseer to work. Solved it by adding an extra scene controler (which is not an option in my scenario)

I surprised myself by thinking homeseer had all the basics around support of zwave devices in order so I focused my research initially on the more exotic integrations. However seems I will also look at each zwave device and the amount of support it has in each controler…

I’m sure someone has but you tried to call homeseer directly on this? I haven’t yet had the need to call them for z-wave support but my other phone support has been great. I woulds be curious of their response and how quick a z-wave plugin update would be made. I use the beta plugin currently.

At this point HS3 has been out a long time, with no real info on what’s next. Until they say where development is heading for HS4 , I’m not buying HS3…

8) it’s been a long time since ui5 was released. I’m still proudly sporting it. Not even tempted to go to ui7
