Replacing the control panel page for my custom page

Hi guys,

I’ve searched the forum, but I can’t figure this out. Is it possible to replace a control panel page of any device for one of my custom pages? If yes, can you give me a step by step guide?

I found that you can do it for plugins, but I just want to do it for a specific device in my setup.

Normally to do this you would create your own JSON file for the device. You’d upload this new JSON file and then go to the Vera web page, to the existing device Advanced tab and enter your JSON filename. I’m not sure if you have to modify the device XML file (D_.xml) as well.

Thnx, tinman! I was hoping for an easier solution, but I will have to dig into json then.
