Long story short. Fan control died. Dongle still lists it as included in the network. Tried to exclude it, wouldn’t respond.
How can I remove this node from the dongle side of my network without reseting everything?

Spoke with aaron… the “permanently remove dead node” button actually works if the node has been physically removed from the network. The dongle has to determine that the node has actually been removed, so sometimes this function does not work if there is still power to the node (didnt work for me a couple of days ago)… but fortunately it did for me tonight.
If anyone is having problems with this… I would physically remove power from the node, wait awhile, and then press the “permanantly remove dead node” button.
Good to know BOSSTON. Thanks for keeping the community informed of your findings!
