Does anyone have any experience with the Rometec ZRC-90 (Scene Master). Mine pairs without issue and I can assign scenes to buttons but anything with an “off” command doesn’t work.
Also, every six hours or so, my vera console tell me that the device cannot be detected.
Any ideas?

i have the same issue
Same problems here, but I cannot get ANY scenes to respond. Emailed support some time ago but no response. Gave up on scenes and started looking further. My Logs show that my Veraplus is seeing the controller and the “sl_CentralScene” variable is set to the button # when I press a button on the controller. I use PLEG to sense the button presses and react accordingly. I also started experimenting with button combinations (1,2,3 or 7,8,6) in series and this gives me a LOT of actions! Next Im going to set one up as an entry code keypad to arm and disarm my system. I cannot see long presses or double presses from the keypad but I can see a series of button presses. With 8 buttons that give me 512 possible combinations and actions!
I hadthr ZRC working on the Edge with latest firmware last weekbut once I knew it would work I moved it to my Plus and took the Edge back out of service.
It responded to single and double press but I never tried long press. I assigned it in the scene editor and not at the device. That said, I always show as device not detected but if you ignore that, all works fine.
What do you mean about anything with an off in it?
I seem to have an operational ZRC-90: is anyone interested at this late stage?

Is the ‘Can’t detect device’ fixed. That’s the only thing wrong on mine.
I have the ZRC-90 working, currently with buttons 1 - 5 operating on single and double click. I am using a Vera Edge
In order to program the double-click mode, I have found that it is necessary to set both the single and the double-click buttons as triggers from within a scene rather than from the “select scene” option. Otherwise there appear to be no issues (at the moment)
I did all my trigger select from within the scenes rather than at the device and had no problem there. Good to hear that the device not found may be fixed. I may try the latest firmware this weekend.
I’m still having no joy with the latest firmware on Vera Edge (had it working perfectly on a Vera3 - including press and hold).
It’ll pair, recognise the Device JSON correctly. But can’t get it to register any presses, whether adding as a scene trigger or assigning the buttons directly in the device.
I have a new post where with the latest firmware I had to change all my scenes to make them manual trigger and then assign them in the device. You can see in the attachment that I named the scenes as P1 for button one single push, P1D for double push etc.
In this way you only get the single and double push options but 16 scenes on one device is enough to my mind.
The scenes worked fine the other way until this new version firmware.
Still have the device not found but still no problem and easily ignored.
