Recruiting for a Promixis Girder 5 plugin

Hi guys,

I recently migrated from Insteon to ZWave, and although I miss certain aspects of Insteon, I think I’m going to be part of the ZWave camp for good. Being a longtime Girder user, one of those aspects is the ability to seamlessly integrate my lighting system with the rest of my automation system. There are certain things for which you just can’t beat the power and flexibility of Girder.
That is why I proposed to the developer of Girder that I recruit a capable programmer from this community to create a plugin for Vera/Girder that would allow the two to work together. As a head-start, they both utilize Lua scripting. The union will be unparalleled!

I would serve as an advisor and familiarize you with Girder, though I am not a programmer so my abilities to assist you in that regard would be limited. As we work towards our beta release/RC1, you’ll be provided with extensions to your Girder trial license and on completion you will receive a Whole Home Pro license for your efforts. (That allows you to install Girder on every computer in your house if you choose)

Can someone please let me know where I might find information on UPnP device descriptions of the devices the Vera publishes?

Someone over at the Promixis forum was kind enough to build a plugin that will work in conjuction with UPnP devices (and therefore the Vera), but they require additional information on how the Vera wraps and publishes it’s devices.
