I’m seeing a lot of errors with one of my Eurotronic Spirit radiator thermostats, and I’m changing the batteries every week, so I’ve taken it out of service for the time being.
I’m currently considering how to proceed with the radiator control. Until the failure, I was reasonably satisfied with the solution. I actually quite like the thermostats’ quick response time thanks to FLiRS. The thermostats’ control behavior is so-so, and programming the times via MeshBots is currently cumbersome (but this should be improved soon with a proper schedule).
Replacing it with the same thermostat isn’t an option, as they’re no longer available. There are still some remaining stocks of the Eurotronic Comet Z-Wave with FLiRS, which is presumably a successor to it, but also seems to have been discontinued.
Which current Z-Wave radiator thermostats are recommended? For example, I just found a Remotec Thermostat Z-Wave 800 Series thermostat. Are there other thermostats with FLiRS?
Or would it make more sense for me to opt for a set from a thermostat manufacturer like Honeywell, which has its own controller and can be controlled via LAN with the Ezlo controller?
