Reboot Vera

How do I reboot vera when logged in via ssh? When I use /sbin/reboot the system hangs after reboot (more precise the http interface, ssh is ok). Plugging out power and plugging back in works.

What am I doing wrong?

A normal reboot command should do it. You’ll loose the ssh connection afterwards.

when I pull the power and plug it back in all comes back fine.

when I use a reboot command the system does not come back fully (bits of it not working such as web interface).

I’m with Garrett. The reboot command works, eventually, but it can take over a minute to take effect. Once it took five minutes. The only times I have to do a hard power cycle is when the USB Z-Wave dongle gets confused and loses serial connectivity.

I am messing around with usb/serial ports, maybe that is it what upsets the system.
