I wanted to be able to see my pressure at the filter at any given time. I inherited a disastrous piping setup when I bought this house and I finally got around to digging up the pipes and redoing it (thanks unemployment!)
In any event the system primes and starts a million times faster but I’m concerned that the same issues are happening when I’m not around, the pressure drops to zero and it takes 20 minutes for it to reprime. I was looking for something that gave a real-time output of the pressure.
I know you can use a pressure sensor to trigger at certain pressures but I was looking for something that would output the actual pressure whenever I wanted to see it. Is anything available? Right now I have a Hayward DE2420 Filter that has a 1/4 npt pressure fitting. I’d be happy to cut into the piping and install that way if absolutely necessary
