Hi,
I would like someone to give me a quote on writting a Vizia RF Emulator driver using the serial port. It is so that we can use the Vera with a HAI Omni panel and use the omni to control lights connected to the Vera.
Possibly of interest to any potential developer: if a status change happens in Vera (say, someone manually pressed a light switch), how does the info get back to the HAI? On/off/dimmer type Z-Wave devices only (i.e. just lights as stated)?
i would expect the driver to be 2 way…as stated above.
So I think (I haven’t played with either the emulator or the real device in a while) at least 2 areas need attention, relative to the existing plug-in: serial i/f and 2-way.
Link to the previous topic on this, for (interested parties’) reference.
Yeah we have looked at it and can’t figure it out so i was hoping somebody would be able to write a driver for us that would be able to work. We are happy to happy for it if need be.
I am prepared to pay somebody to write this driver for me, if someone could give me a quote please.
Did you ever get any traction on this, I’m interested in the same idea.
Me too!
