Question regarding Kwikset lock

I would to know if Kwikset locks work with firmware 1.0.996 ?

From what I remember from previous posts they will work but you’l lose access to some of the advanced features like pin management etc. I’ll see if I can dig out the previous post.

The post I was referring to was in the beta forum but this was @micasverdes post:

Pin Code schedules don't work in UI2. Also, all of the Kwikset-specific alarms, like 'lock not extended', 'battery low', etc
