Hi all,
I just got a MyKey to replace the zwave.me 4 button remote that was rubbish.
I attached it to my keychain this morning I found later on that the silver keyloop section had come away from the remote. I pushed it back on, but I’m wondering if this is a known fault with these remotes?
This keychain loop seems to be a very poor design which is a shame as otherwise the remote is a very nice one.
If it’s a common issue I’ll probably glue it on, otherwise it looks like I’ll have to return it for a replacement.
Looking at it some more, it’s obviously meant to come off. I think I will put some superglue onto it to stop it coming off.
I have been waiting for those devices. Is this a North American version? If so, can I ask you where you got it?
EU version as I’m in the UK and Qees is a European company.
It’s taken around 2 years to get an EU version
I think they didn’t apply enough glue to this thing, so the key chain loop section slides out.
Superglue has solved the problem for now. Just will need to keep my eye on it, don’t want to lose something that can control my house
