Q: Appliance module, z-wave codes operate it but Vera2 gives transmit error=1

Hi,

I’ve got an issue I am not sure about. The appliance switch (Homepro ZRP100) shows up but Vera says, “Unable to get any information on node”. If I click on the On button in UI4, Vera will send the code and the switch will turn on but Vera will report back, “Transmit failed with code: 1” (BTW, if I put the ZRP100 in a plug that sits next to the Vera then everything works fine so I’d say the switch itself is in good working order. Also, I included the switch while it was sitting in it’s final location and paired it by moving the Vera right next to it and following the standard procedure to add a device.

Any ideas what I should do here? Is it that the ZRP100 is on the ragged edge of being too far away from the Vera?

I did a repair on just the node of the switch and get the following report…with a Heal Successful response from Vera but the UI4 still flags the device red and shows errors.

Thanks,
Chad

Seems like heal network did this to me, so I moved Vera2 closer to the offending module and that seemed to work. You can also try just updating neighbors on that module or another heal network may fix it. Ultimately it went away when I recently relocated Vera2 up high on the wall in a closet right in the center of the house and property. Everything works like a charm, but it does take 6-7 seconds when I enter a code on the door lock for the lights to come on with a scene on that event.
