Problem: how do I cancel device association in UI7

Hello everyone. I’m a new Vera Edge user. I’m learning a lot every single day thanks to everyone here in the forum. I have a question that I couldn’t find an answer.

I was experimenting with Associations and I associated one switch that controls my kitchen lights (2x1.5k Fibaro) to another switch that controls power to my kitchen TV (1x2.5kw Fibaro). The association works nice: I turn on the kitchen light and the TV turns on (I mean, the mains socket where the TV is connected). This was just a small test because I don’t want to have the lights on whenever I want to turn the TV on.

I tried to remove the association but just deleting things on the UI doesn’t seem to help. The light switch keeps controling the power on the TV mains socket.

Can someone please help me out? Thank you so much!

Delete the device group, used for the association, and then after Saving do a Configure node right now.

If that doesn’t clear it, you’ll need to exclude and include the device that holds the association group(kitchen light).

Z-Waver, thanks for your help. I believe I did exactly that. The UI does not show any association but whenver I turn the light switch on/off, my tv turn on/off. The only difference is that the “turning off” takes longer than when the association “was active”. Any more clues?

As stated, if configure doesn’t solve the issue, you’ll need to exclude and include the device. This process resets the device to factory defaults and no associations.

Thanks again, Z-Waver! I guess I will have to give it a try. The only pain is either taking the device from the wall socket or bringing the Vera controller close to it

Next time I will know that i’m not suppose to be playing with properly configured devices
