preview of release candidate firmware now available

We are pushing to have a finished, release candidate version of Vera’s firmware available in the next couple days, which fixes all known bugs, and includes the new user interface, except for the demo videos.

In the meantime, a preview of the release candidate is below.

It is missing a few of the new UI-style icons, and we have not completed the full test sequence. But anyone who has outstanding bugs is encouraged to give it a try and let us know immediately, so we can fix them in the next couple days before we post the release candidate.

Note: It is recommended to make a backup of your current configuration by going to Advanced, Backup. That way if you need to downgrade to the prior 320 release, you can restore the backup.

My NTP problem (an oifficial bug has been created) stills consists .I am in Denmark, Copenhagen, Herlev.

Whenever I reboot my vera the date is January 1st and the clock starts from 00:00.

Until this is fixed I cannot use sunset and weekdays features …

We determined that this is caused by the OpenWRT control panel writing incorrect values in the ntp control panel. We’re going to try to find the problem and patch OpenWRT. This won’t effect users who leave Vera in the standard configuration; it happens when you go to advanced, net & wi-fi, and choose the ‘advanced configuration’ link.
