poll failing, lights staying on

I noticed my yard lights were staying on. They are programmed to come on at sunset and go off 4 hours later.

Looking at the Vera interface, it shows the pencil on red paper. The wiki says this is a poll error.

I can’t find any instructions on what to do in this case. I’ve tried “poll now” a few times and it fails each time. I’ve tried the “configure node right now” too. That made the gear turn red… Uh oh.

According to the zwave devices page. This is an ACT outlet. On the Vera page I see:

Capabilities 209,140,0,4,16,1|37,39,112,114,115,117,134,
Version 6,2,24,1,20
Manufacturer ACT - Advanced Control Technologies
Model
Neighbors 1,5,6,

I’m also attaching a screen shot for this device.

Any suggestions?

Is the outlet a ways from your Vera? It could be possible that the z-wave signal is not reaching the outlet all the time. Sometimes the signal from the vera gets to the device to turn it on, but the response back from the device does not make it back.

I don’t think it’s a distance issue. There is a z-wave thermostat pretty close. The info page shows it has several neighbor devices, plus it has worked for over a year in the current location.
