My office has two doors with a light switch at each door, so I have a 3-way setup using the GE/Jasco switches. I am using PLTS with a motion sensor to control the lights (report attached).

The issue I am running into is that when I turn the lights on or off via the auxiliary switch PLTS does not detect the event. If I turn the lights on or off via the UI or primary switch everything works as expected.

Any thoughts?

My original search conditions didn’t turn anything up, but now I see this is a GE/Jasco non-instant on issue.

Vera can poll the device for status changes. But having to short of a polling interval can destabilize Vera.

But you probably want a short interval for automation.

I would recommend instant status devices for those that provide input to your automation logic.
