I’m wanting to use PLEG to monitor a Mulitswitch trigger that I plan to update every 10 minutes. I want to know if PLEG can be used to turn the Mulitswitch trigger off if it’s not updated for 20 minutes. I’d like to think that I can do this but I don’t know if the timestamp will work the way I think it will.
I do not know what you mean by update every 10 minutes.
I do not know if the MultiSwitch plugin will trigger an update if you tell it to set a switch and it’s already set. (The behavior is plugin specific)
If it does trigger … you can have it start/restart a 20 minute schedule. If the schedule ever turns off, then you can turn the MultiSwitch off.
That’s exactly what I was wondering. I guess I’ll just have to test it out…
