I have a strange problem with 2 PK5501ENG keypads that I added to my DSC PC1864 system. When I connect one of the PK5501ENG keypads after a minute or so the correct time is shown but it shows “Program”. Nothing gets it out of this strange mode except holding down the # key (2 beeps) for a few seconds then holding down the 1 key for a couple of seconds (2 beeps, then 1 beep). System ready (green checkmark). Done! Everything working fine from new keypad. Not quite. After a few minutes I?m back to Time and “Program” and a dead keypad. I?m stumped. Thanks in advance for any help.
