Philips Hue and Vera Plus lag

Hello All,

i recently bought a new Vera Plus, and i am trying to add Philips Hue starter kit to it (three bulbs). I downloaded the plug in 1.7 and it is connected easily to the bridge.

the problem start with controling the bulbs, the first thing is that the process is very slow and lags a lot. for example if i want to switch off the bulb from the vera dashboard, it keeps giving the circle that it is executing (or loading) for about a minute, then it turns off the light. the same for switch on and so on…

is it normal to be that slow while controlling the Hue or i have something wrong?

I’m currently considering buying the Vera Plus with some Philips Hue lights, but while searching for reviews I’ve found this very bad experience from you…

I find the same with some other devices on the Plus, but only when you use the web interface. If you control the Hue lights with an app, the reaction is instantaneous.

I have a Hue bridge with Vera Plus. There are currently 2 plug-ins. One that worked great on the old UI5 and the new one by MCV. A word of warning, right now, the latest plug-in can’t control a single GE Link light via the Hue Bridge/MCV Plugin. No one has responded with a single work-around, so I have about 40 lights in my house that can only be controlled by the Hue app.

I was told several weeks ago that “they’re working on a fix”, but I’ve seen no updates so far.

I no longer recommend Vera to friends.
