Philio PAN06 - using the 2 input switches to controll the same load

Hi, could not find this in another topic.

I have 2 bistable switches controlling 1 load. They were wired in the multiway switching “traveler system”.
I rewired them so to each 1 switch input of the Philio PAN06 switch.
The load is connected to NO1.

Switching via the vera controller is working well. Also manual switching using the S1 input is working OK.
The S2 switch is only switching relay NO2. I can’t figure out how to configure the switch so both inputs S1 and S2 controll load NO1 manually.
I can’t rewire them to the same input S1. If so they should be in the same state before the philio switch can detect the edge, right?

update: I’m using Vera3 with UI5

Thanks for the help.

bump

I can of course replace the 2 switches by monostable switches, both connected to the S1 input of the Philip PAN06, but I was not planning to do this…

Alternatively, can I create a dummy device which uses S2 as an input to switch the on/off status of the load NO1?
Then I should create 5 such a devices since I have 5 times this situation. Will it not ‘overload’ the capabilities of my vera3?

i dont understand what you are trying to do exactly but what i do know is that the PAN06 relay comes by default that both relays work together when u press on any button (physical button or virtual through vera)

you can change this by changing the parameters

Parameter 1 , parameter size 1 dec , value = (1 for both relays or 2 for relay no1 or 3 for relay no 2)

i have some issues with the PAN06 that i posted on here but no body answered, when you include the PAN06 it comes up as 4 buttons where 1 and 2 are for the relays and 3 and 4 are just duplicates for 1 and 2 …have you been able to hide 2 of the 4 buttons or what do u do about it?

hi Mohab, thanks for your reply.

first, on you question: I also have 4 devices for each PAN06, see example in annex.
in my case “toilet” is the real device. It’s the device I pinpoint to my dashboard of my vera (UI5) and it’s the device is use in my imperihome apps.
_Philio both loads, _Philio Load 1 and _Philio load 2 are virtual child devices, (e1, e2, e3)
(I only use 1 load for each PAN06)

on my issue:
this is what I get when I change the value of parameter 1
value 1:
relay 1 switched with input 1: YES
relay 1 switched with input 2: NO
relay 1 switched via vera: YES

value 2:
relay 1 switched with input 1: YES
relay 1 switched with input 2: NO
relay 1 switched via vera: YES

value 3:
relay 1 switched with input 1: YES
relay 1 switched with input 2: NO
relay 1 switched via vera: NO

==> so it seems the parameter only changes the way the vera is controlling the PAN06: both relays, relay 1, or relay 2.

I have the TKB TZ06 which is basically the same and I do not believe I can use two switches for one relay.

Thanks for confirming, although it’s not the answer I hoped for.
Then I will try to make a scene which is triggered by the second switch and which will toggle the first load.

If the PAN06 does not have instant update you could get big delays
