The pebble watch is now being sent out to its backers. But I was too late and didn’t get one.
Wouldn´t it be cool to control your HA system from the watch?
Anyone here that has will get a pebble soon?

I see a new target for Vera Alerts ![]()
Yup, your right Richard.
BTW my vera alerts has stopped showing up in the phone the last week or so… Running version 1.2 of the plugin and have updated the Android app today. Any idea why?
I guesss you missed the thread about Google cutting out C2DM clients … My 2.3 upgrade moved us to GCM (I had already converted before Google pulled the plug … but hadn’t released)
Anyway you will just need to unregister and re-register on the Android phone to get your messages flowing again. (This will register you with the GCM service, previously you were registered with the C2DM service which is now dead!)
Yes, missed it. Thanks.
I should hopefully be getting my Pebble near the start of the shipping process, since i ordered in the first day or so.
I’m hoping for a new target to send notifications and such…I use Prowl right now, but the watch could be way better!
Even a simple message so I know Vera kicked into into the right mode…something like “welcome home” & “goodbye” & “good night”…I have avoided that going to my phone simply b/c I don’t want to clear them out all the time, but if I can send it to the watch and be done with it, that would be great.
Has anyone managed to get Pebble & Vera to work in harmony ?
Just wondering the same thing, was going to start looking into the API if no one has done so already.
I too have a Pebble (and a MetaWatch) and would love to see this progress. Smartwatch+ for IOS can send HTTP requests from the Pebble but its only one way. And pebble can receive sms and emails.
