Password protect for local login

Hi,
I’ve vera plus and i wondering how i can enable local authentication(username and password ) when accessing the vera via its local ip (http)?

You are not alone. This is an oft-requested feature.

Sadly, at the moment, you can’t.

For some time I had actually created something like this but it was pretty complicated: I had to create a proxy and used VLAN and firewall rules to force access to the vera through the proxy running nginx with password protection… I abandoned it eventually due to the complexity of the maintenance
