pairing with an enerwave zw500d

i am a bit of a newbie for vera,
i am using a vera plus, and am trying to pair up an enerwave zw500d.

  1. it is not on the list of devices, which one should i use, i tried a ge dimmer but could not pair
  2. how can i check if it is already paired

The Z-Wave devices that do not have a pairing wizard, can be added as Generic Z-Wave devices.
There is no easy way to check if a device is already paired. But, it is recommended to first exclude the device or reset it, before doing the pairing process.

I have the energy monitoring versions of this switch, and it will pair and operate correctly using the “Generic Z-Wave” device. As was mentioned, it may be necessary to unpair it first.
