Did anybody tried to improve Geofencing using MQTT plugin along with cloudmqtt.com and Owntracks mobile app?
I know that somenone here has done something very similar…

@akbooer thanks for your reply, I think I know about this project you tasing about but I am from EU and I can’t participate in testing 
trying to figure out some geofencing that works and can trigger virtual switch for last 2 weeks …

Did you ever succeed in this? I was in the pilot that referenced above but he recently canceled it. I have set up Mosquito on a pi and have Owntracks publishing to it. Struggling on how to get it to talk to Vera.

No sorry I abandoned this project as I was unsuccessful in linking with Vera.
I’ve temporarily replaced the functionality from Logo beta with OwnTracks integration>Home Assistant>Vera.
It’s a pita to get it working stable.
