Not having a sprinkler system are there any suggestions on controlling an outside bib faucet.
If you want on/off control then I guess you put a solenoid operated valve inline, and then control this with an appliance module.
If you do a search then there are several post around where people have done this sort of thing to control their main water supply, rather using an expensive FortrezZ valve.
You could do something similar.
