I have some home automation apps that are not Z-Wave (e.g., I have a thermostat that is WiFi controllable). Is there any way you would consider having a button that would open up an iOS app? Iād like the ability to start from HomeWave for all my home automation functions rather than go to each individual app. The wife would be a happy camper, too!! 
As long as the thermostat app supports being opened by URL, you can do this. Use an Action button, set the action mode to URL, and enter the URL for the app in the appropriate field.
The thermostat in question is a Sensi UP500W. If I enter the URL for the website, āhttps://mythermostat.sensicomfort.comā, nothing happens. Is there a URL associated with the app itself that I downloaded onto my iPhone, and if so, how do I find it? Thank you.
The app urls that have worked for me are :// for example if you type homewave:// into safari it will launch homewave
