Not allowed to upgrade to UI5

Hi,

I’ve been trying to upgrade my vera 2 to UI5, but following the instructions at MiOS just tells me I’m at the latest UI4 firmware and there is no option to upgrade. Putting a download URL in the firmware upgrade option under advanced settings says “Failed to download the Firmware Url!!!” even though the url is valid and I’ve downloaded the firmware to my laptop.

The only thing that I’ve found is that I’m still on version 2.48 for my z-wave dongle. Will this stop the upgrade working, and if so I believe this dongle should’ve been recalled many years ago. Is that recall still in affect?

If not, is it possible to tftp the downloaded firmware to the vera2?

The point of HA is to have the system do things for you which would normally take personal effort. In this case Vera is helping you out by not upgrading to UI5, saving you hours upon hours of needless frustration. :wink:
