No Sticky?

How come no sticky for connecting Alexa to Vera?

I’m guessing I probably can’t do it unless I upgrade to the latest firmware anyway? I have a Vera Lite on UI5 and I’m scared to update since things have been working smoothly for a couple years. I bought four Dots around Christmas and would love to use voice commands. Maybe it’s time to upgrade my Vera and start down the rabbit hole. :-\ Not looking forward to it. :frowning:

You may be better off getting another Vera and bridging the 2. The new Vera, Maybe a Plus or Edge, could run UI7 and connect to Alexa and have it control the Lite devices. Your newer Vera should handle logic faster.

You could even transfer some devices over time. Then your Lite can become a test box.

I guess you know you can use the HA Bridge with UI5? You just need a sever to run it on. Last month I upgraded to UI7, but for the last two years I have been using Alexa with Vera…
