I have not been able to remotely get to the Dashboard in UI4 for the past 3 days and then today, Bam, I’m in. Was thinking it was my Vera2, my network, my router, etc., etc., but now I’m wondering if it’s the Mios servers since I can log in but couldn’t get to the Dashboard when I’m having this problem. Perhaps the reports that UI4 causes spontaneous Vera rebooting can actually be helping with remote access issues? I had this problem with the Hawking HomeRemote product (total piece of junk), now it seems to be happening to some degree with Vera2 and UI4.
…and remote access is no longer available for my Vera2 - “Server Busy - Data Not Loading?” message on the Dashboard…almost made it to 12 hours of remote access.
It´s nice to know im not alone with this problem…
Recieved my Vera2 mid december, and has never been able to contact it remotely.
Averything works fine on my local network, and I can even se the name and local IP of my Vera2 when I log in on mios.com - but no dashboard acces.
Reading these posts I tried to roboot manually (unlpug) and by using the reboot from advanced tap - nothing helps.
If anyone has an idea - please post and make a hopefull Vera Newbee very happy.
Thanks!
/ Martin

/ Martin[/quote]If you were never able to connect then you have a different problem. The problem posted here is an intermittent problem thats been around for a couple of Weeks.
For your problem I would start by creating a new post detailing the following:
Which UI version?
Your equipment (router brand etc)?
How its all connected?
Which ISP and type of connection?
Also perform a “troubleshoot network” from the Net and WiFi tab and post the results.
You should also submit a trouble ticket from the tech support tab.
Hi,
I can´t tell if it was the same problem or not…? But when Micasaverde finaly contacted me regarding my techsupport ticket
it took them a day to fix it - only by recieving my Vera2 serialnr.
So maybe the remote issue(s) is all about the Micasaverde servers - not being stable…?
Thanks anyway
Best regards
Martin
hi Martin
I have all along suspected it is
a MCV server problem. It happens so infrequently that it is difficult to replicate. Thanks
Jack
Remote access issues is a known case and will be corrected in the next firmware release. This should be released very soon.
