New Veralite User - A manual only activated scene?

Hello there,

I just got my Veralite and have setup some sensors and I can’t quite figure out how to configure the following:

-I would like to have a Siren activate when outside doors are opened, but ONLY when I manually activate this functionality. I would like to utilize this when I am in my basement to determine if there is entry into the house.

I have tried to setup a scene to do this, but it seems to be limited to a time, or a trigger (I don’t have any scene controlling buttons yet - is this the solution?) I would basically like something akin to a car alarm - manually activated and manually deactivated.

Finally, what would the method be to limit siren duration (it is a Fortezz SSA2 siren) to only sound for 2 seconds if a door sensor is tripped and that’s it?

When creating or editing a scene, if you click the drop-down to the right of the scene name, you can set a delay and then define actions for it. So, you can turn the siren on at Immediate and off again at 2 seconds - or whatever delay you chose.
