New Vera Login Pages

Anyone notice the new login section on GetVera.com, slow as mud now…!

No, you have it all wrong, according to this post http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,35401.msg261324.html#msg261324

Benefits include a streamlined provisioning process, much faster connection times, and added controller information/functionality (including remote software updates) right from the portal. It also provides the foundation for many exciting new services and product features in the coming year.

New pages look nice. I have difficulties to connect to my controller true the new pages. Message “Connecting Through Relay… forever”. Am I only one having problems?

I haven’t noticed login and controller access to be any slower than usual. Maybe a lot of people are wanting to take the new web login page and the new mobile app for a “test drive” today, contributing to occasional slowness some people are experiencing.

I have sixteen veras and after entering the username and password it takes forever to load. Forever being about 45 seconds. Fortunately they are providing a short term solution:

It appears the new dashboard actually goes out and gets some information from each controller before allowing you to see any controllers. This is not an enhancement. Two of the sixteen controllers I have even look different on the dashboard, not displaying the weather/temp. I don’t really care but why? They are newish but not the newest or oldest and both are setup just like all the others (all in the same city).

Seems to me they rolled out a beta dashboard before its time.

They’re quite brave to roll out such a significant change during a holiday week…
This is a “no change” week at my IT Shop…

Also, fi you don;t mind my asking, what is your use case for 16 Veras? It doesn’t seem that a service provider would have them all under the same account. Are you using them for rentals?

It is working fine for me. I had been using the "nexus.getvera.com portal since they announced it an never had an issue. This morning was the first time I used the “new” home.getvera.com, and no issues at all.

Old login page does not recognize my ID & password!

What IDIOTS decided to do this without any notification to the users???

I’m not liking the new auto logout . 5 minutes is too short is this feature customizable

Are you referring to the “old” login page that must now be reached at:
https://legacy.getvera.com/users/login

Both “old” and “new” login pages accept my existing ID and password.

loads fine for me - no slower than the old legacy login page…which was never very peppy for me in the first place…
